Well, there’s a backstory…

Just before covid hit and it felt like our world shut down, Mimi, her husband, and youngest son moved to Abbotsford, an inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia, so they could focus on growing their tech business with fewer distractions.

On one of her regular morning walks along the river, she met Frank, a man experiencing homelessness.
Over the months of lockdown walks and chats, separated by masks and 2-meter safety zones, Frank and Mimi became friends. Through their conversations her eyes were opened to the reality - both frightening, and profoundly touching, of life on the streets and how incredibly naive and sheltered she was.

Frank disappeared suddenly when lockdown ended, and Mimi found herself wondering where Frank had gone and what could have happened to him.

Frank. Brutal. is the story that emerged from that mystery as her imagination took flight in weird and quite frightening directions.

For those that love sinking their teeth into a good mystery with lots of twists and turns, coupled with a bunch of truth and reality, this one's for you.
